Feels Just Like It Should

Oh....My.....GOSH!!! My body aches in places I didn't know that I had muscles!

I owe it to a few things: Lucky Devils Training, Morning Walks with Kiva, and Jazzercise. Yes, I said Jazzercise.

First, Lucky Devils Training is going AMAZING! We've met three times now and have a solid group of people interested. Thank you to those of you who have been up way to early on a Saturday to meet up at 6am! On our off weekends, a few of the North Valley Devils have been getting together for long walks to keep up the momentum. Many of you know that I contacted Perry Edinger, a retired ultra marathon runner who was recently featured in the AZ Republic. It was able to make it to the Lucky Devils Training on the 22nd. Allison and I were the only ones to make it, but we had a great time. He even said that he'll try and make it to our future walks.

Second, I owe a huge part of my consistency to Kiva and our morning walks. We tried working out in my living room for a week. Chris thought it was cute and dubbed it the "Meggie Bear Dance Studio." He'd try and watch us on Monday's, but darn it, either Julia (Kiva's adorable 3yr old) was sick or it was raining, or we were just plain pooped! Kiva and I decided to keep the workouts outside, not because of my apparently luring boyfriend, but that we get a better workout when we walk. The neighborhood is great for an awesome 30-45 minute workout. My Cardio Trainer app on my G1 phone is awesome and has recorded all of my progress. It automatically updates to my Facebook page if you want to check it out. You can also see my weight loss progress. I'm all about full disclosure for accountability.

Finally, the most recent piece in my puzzle has been Jazzercise. Mom has been doing it for sometime and I've thought about it, but I'm just so busy. Well, the Jazzercise deal of a centrury came up, so I cut back my hours at the store and signed up. Let's face it, I haven't been losing weight and the main reason for my job there was to have the discount has I needed new clothes. Plus, everyone would bring in treats and I have a hard time saying no. If you have never taken a Jazzercise class, I HIGHLY recommend it. Or at least Tammy's sessions at the Scottsdale Jazzercise Center - you're welcome for the plug! Not only do you get an amazing workout, but she is HILARIOUS! She loves my moves and told me I need to be an instructor on the first day! Sure, why not! I've got plenty of FREE time!!!! Mom is doing such a great job, I just can't think of a reason not to go! Well, other than working late and alumni events, but there are tons of classes I can get to each week, so it's not hard to meet my goal of 3 a week!

So those are the updates! Thanks again to everyone for their on-going love and support!
